Mark B. Schiffer, MD, FACC

Dr. Schiffer is an experienced and progressive physician with a particular interest in preventative cardiac disease. His patients tend to love his direct nature coupled with his relaxed presentation, often interjected with conversations about family, music and golf, Dr. Schiffer’s first loves. Dr. Schiffer serves as the Associate Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, as well as Director of the Cardiac Care Unit.

Dr. Schiffer graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in 1973. In 1977, Dr. Schiffer graduated from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Schiffer is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
